After a fatal crash, speedway star Chris returns home to Holsted. When his childhood club faces closure, he must get back on the bike and face what he left behind.

Meeting Sofie and returning to life around the club pull him into a world he thought he had left. On the track, he knows how to measure himself against the others. Outside it, things are harder.

Rooted in real life.

Director Jesper Tønnes grew up in Føvling, near Holsted. Sidste Heat takes him back. Rebel Pictures made the test footage at the local track, working with professional speedway riders. What we learn there helps shape both the story and how the film will be shot.
