A film does not start with the camera.
What should the audience feel? How close do we need to be? Those questions matter when choosing a format. They also shape how we work with the actors and how much time a scene needs.
We can develop the idea with you or direct the film. Our production experience is part of that work: a visual idea needs a plan that gives it room on set.

Before choosing a camera
We work on the story and its visual language with you, then help choose the format and film stock. Tests let you see how they serve the idea before you commit.

A workable plan
How much stock will the shoot need? How many takes can you allow? We calculate footage and shooting ratio, then plan the budget, crew, camera package and schedule together.

On set
We can direct, help run the production or support the camera crew with equipment and loading. We agree on the role before the shoot.

After exposure
We coordinate processing and scanning with specialist partners. Before the footage goes to the lab, we agree on delivery requirements and plan its route into editing and finishing.

Good to know.
Do I need experience or a finished concept?
No. Bring a script, a song, a mood, an image or just a question. Tell us about your resources and we can help choose a format and plan the first test.
What does it cost?
The cost depends on format, stock consumption, shooting days and post-production. Send us the idea, timing and budget range so we can agree on the scope and prepare a quote.
Do you process and scan in-house?
Specialist partners handle processing and scanning. We can coordinate the work and agree on delivery with you and the lab before the shoot.
Can I rent a camera without a full crew?
Yes. Tell us which camera you need, your dates and what you are shooting. We will check availability and agree on the package.
Can film and digital footage be combined?
Yes. You can shoot the whole film on celluloid or add analog sequences to a digital production. We help plan formats, tests and post-production so the images work together.
Can Super 8 be used professionally?
Yes. We use Super 8 for music videos, inserts and format experiments. Its character and limitations need to be considered from the start. See the examples under films and format experiments.
