Rebel Pictures was built on a simple foundation: Low budget. High precision. Founded by filmmaker Jesper Tønnes in 2018, Rebel Pictures is shaped by years of hands-on experience across Danish and international productions. Our philosophy is simple: strong films are not accidents.

We develop original films and creative concepts in close collaboration with writers, directors, artists, and partners. Rebel Pictures functions as a creative hub — bringing together talent around shared ideals, clear process, and long-term ambition.

We work across feature films, artistic projects, short formats, and selected commercial collaborations. From analogue filmmaking — spanning Super 8 to 65mm — to large-scale genre storytelling and science-fiction adventure, our work is defined by technical discipline and creative focus. — so that once the camera rolls, freedom and presence can emerge.
