Proof that scale is a method, not a budget.

The Last Padawan 2 is a 50-minute action-adventure inspired by the Star Wars universe. Produced as a non-profit with a volunteer cast and crew, it was shot over 12 days in the Danish Wadden Sea. The production tested a simple idea: ambitious genre work can look and feel large without a large budget.

The project was supported by Kulturregion Vadehavet and launched with a parallel short-form campaign. Announcement films, production updates, a wrap film, trailer, behind-the-scenes material and post-release content built an audience before and after the premiere.

The result is more than online reach. It shows how a clear premise, production discipline and the campaign around the film can turn limited resources into a genre experience for an international audience.
