CUT

At one end of the spectrum is Super 8, the small, handheld format that has recorded private moments and home movies for decades. At the other is 65mm, one of cinema's largest and most exclusive capture formats. In CUT, those extremes and everything between them meet in a single performance.

The cameras rolled at exactly the same time. The result makes the format itself visible: its texture, scale, fragility and weight, and the way those physical qualities change how movement is felt.

The release included the film, a behind-the-scenes documentary, a side-by-side comparison, festival screenings, stills, posters, vertical versions and social material. The audience could see both the result and how the experiment was made.
